Rain, rain, go away. It almost the new year here in the south and we are still in 60-70 degree weather and lots and lots of rain. So, we decided if the snow couldn't come to us, we would make our own. What's better than Snowman Pancakes? And your hands don't get cold making these. They couldn't be any easier!
Simply choose your favorite pancake recipe (homemade or mix). We went super easy and went with Bisquick.
What you'll need...
- Pancake Mix
- M&M Candies
- Mini-Chocolate Morsels
- Carrot Noses
- Bacon
- Powdered Sugar
- Mix your batter and grease your griddle for some snowman making fun!
- Pour your batter in circles. You'll want to do a large circle and a smaller circle to create the body and head. You can even get really creative and do 3 different sized circles and go for a tall snowman. I poured my circles just close enough so the pancakes could cook together to make them easier to serve.
- Once they start to show bubbles, flip and cook until done.
- NOW THE FUN PART! Decorate your snowman. We used M&Ms for the eyes and buttons, mini-chocolate morsels for the mouth, added a bacon scarf, a carrot nose and some powdered sugar snow! Let the kids in on the decorating fun!!
- ENJOY!!
