Cream Cheese Party Mints

Baby Shower Mints Bridal Shower Mints Cream Cheese Candies Cream Cheese Mints Party Mints Wedding Mints

  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1 box (1lb.) Powdered Sugar (reserve 1 cup for kneading)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mint Candy Flavor (or flavor of your choice)
  • 1 cup Granulated White Sugar
  • A few drops of Food Coloring in desired shade
  • Flexible Candy Molds

Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese to form a dough.  Add mint flavor and food coloring.  Knead dough with reserved powdered sugar until dough is no longer sticky.  To prepare the mold, press a small amount of the dough mixture into each mold and remove it.  This will coat the molds with oil from the cream cheese.

Pinch off a section of the dough and roll into a small ball.  Dip one side of the ball into the granulated sugar.  Press cream cheese dough into each mold and smooth off excess.  When all molds are filled, invert the mints onto waxed paper or freezer paper to dry.  Repeat until all dough has been made into mints.

When dry store in a plastic sealed container.  May be kept in the refrigerator 3-4 weeks or stored in the freezer for up to 6 months.

Experiment with different flavors and color combinations to add a yummy flair to any celebration!  Not just for weddings!  Put a few in a pretty cellophane bag and tie with a ribbon for a lovely holiday gift!  Yields approximately 144 mints depending on the size of the mold.
